Abyss of Neptune is a survival horror game set in the deep seas of the Bermuda Triangle. You are sent to investigate a mysterious underwater signal, but there is more to it than meets the eye. Do you have what it takes to survive the abyss?

Some highlights of my work in this project

​

Design:​​

  • Responsible for creating the concept of the game and the high level design.

  • Worked on the design for the puzzle system governing the rules of all puzzles in the game​

  • Created several level design block outs and the final block out for the Academics Wing

  • Designed the base look and functionality of the persistent enemy and the final boss fight sequence

Engineering

  • Worked on creating the base architecture for all interdependent puzzle systems in the game​

  • Created the scripted event tool for ease of building scripted sequences like jump scares by a designer

  • Designed and Implemented the oxygen filling puzzle and mechanic as a checkpoint for the game

  • Created several prototypes for various mechanics according to the design pillars of the game
